hardware store.
These products include:
- Clear urethane finish
- Elastomeric roof finishes
- Ordinary latex paint
- Mobile home/motor home roof coatings
- Drywall plaster
- EIFS (exterior building finishes), "California Stucco" is a good example of
these coatings
Choosing a Coating
The important factor when choosing a coating is to ensure that it is water based if you
will be applying it directly to the foam.
Most lacquer or oil based finishes will eat into the foam. If using these types of
"aggressive" finishes you must prime your foam with a high quality latex paint or
primer.
Sign paints such as Deka or One Shot also work very well. Contact your local
"sign supply"
