We produced the first hot wire foam cutter in 1984 as a custom designed & constructed machine. An increase of inquiry and great demand for our foam cutters led to the formation of a production based manufacturing company producing the Foam Cutters plus manual hot wire foam cutters. Our EPS hot wire foam cutters are manufactured in state of the art facilities in the USA, China, Mexico and Europe. Our sales are worldwide with deliveries in over 60 countries..

Along with the first prototype Axis hot wire EPS foam cutter built in 1984, the first production Axis hot wire foam cutter sold in 1991 is still operating and working perfectly. It produces a large quantity of packaging forms made of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam for a large car manufacturing company.

Many clients worldwide can testify to their satisfaction with their Axis hot wire EPS foam cutter and to the support we have been able to provide in the past 12 years.

We are not alone in our endeavor. We have put together a network of  distributors worldwide who provide local technical and commercial support.

Since its creation, The Foam Cutter Company has participated, directly or indirectly, through its distributors, in trade shows around the world. Trade shows targeting the packaging, signage, building or tool and die industries have provided opportunities to promote foam products and to generate interest from various end users for our clients.
